Kaikoura (1884); Lambeth (1879)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Kaikoura (1884) at anchor or moored in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is barque rigged. The small collier LAMBETH (1879), seen from astern, is at anchor in the foreground. She has her port quarter boat in the water, still attached to its falls. A cargo steamship is in distance on the right and Tilbury is in the background.
