A 10x8 negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Liguria (1874) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has yards on her fore and main masts, an awning is rigged aft and she is flying the blue peter. A large number of passengers are on deck. A screw tug in Gamecock Steam Towing Co livery is in the left foreground. Tilbury is in the background.
