Liguria (1874)

A half plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Liguria (1874) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has yards on her fore and main masts, an awning is rigged aft and she is flying the blue peter. A large number of passengers are on deck. A screw tug is in the left foreground. Tilbury is in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould negative not held in the collection.
