Marmion (1871)
A whole plate negative. A copy of an undated painting of the passenger/cargo short sea liner Marmion (1871), depicting her under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is seen from off her port near broadside and she is flying her name pennant and the London & Edinburgh Shipping Co houseflag. Tilbury is in the background. In the bottom left corner is a short, undecipherable signature and written in the bottom right corner is F.C. Gould, Harmer St., Gravesend.
