Minnewaska (1909)
A 12x10 negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Minnewaska (1909) just about to get under way from her anchorage in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound out for New York. A small steam launch is alongside amidships and a tug is connected to her bow but her starboard anchor is still down. Tilbury Hotel is in the background. Negatives numbers G156, G971, G976 and G1179 were all taken on the same occasion.
