Nineveh (1894)
A 12x10 negative. A distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Nineveh (1894) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is barquentine rigged with double topsails and a single topgallant on the foremast. The bow of the paddle tug Vigilant (1874) is on the right. This tug transferred to South Shields late in 1894. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background.
