Norseman (1893)
A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the cable ship Norseman (1893) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is hauled up on the Tilbury shore in the background. Formerly the Royal Navy brig Elk (1847), she was sold for demolition on 30 May 1893.
