She has a line leading to port off her port bow and another leading forward from her starboard bow. No tugs are in the picture. A three masted ship rigged vessel with a tug alongside is on the left and a laden stumpy spritsail rigged barge is under sail tacking across the river in the right background. Rosherville Gardens, Gravesend, are in the left background. A copy of negative number G1821 which is a copy of a Gould negative not held in the collection.
