Omrah (1899)
A half plate negative. A port bow view of the passenger/cargo liner Omrah (1899) manoeuvring with tugs in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a line leading to port off her port bow and another leading forward from her starboard bow. No tugs are in the picture. A three masted ship rigged vessel with a tug alongside is on the left and a laden stumpy spritsail rigged barge is under sail tacking across the river in the right background. Rosherville Gardens, Gravesend, are in the left background. A copy of negative number G1821 which is a copy of a Gould negative not held in the collection.
