Ontario (1881)
A 12x10 negative. A distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the cargo liner Ontario (1881) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. There are no yards on her masts. Herbulwarks have been built up and she has livestock stalls on deck. A number of spritsail barges are under sail and Tilbury is in the background. Very slightly unsharp.
