Ophir (1891)
A half plate negative. A painting showing a port broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Ophir (1891) under way at sea with a hilly coastline in the background. She is flying a Royal Mail pennant at the foremast and the Orient Line houseflag at the main. A copy of a mounted photographic print with the vessel's name on a label at the bottom of the mount. Negatives numbers G114, G1837 and G1849 are all of the same painting.
