Orontes (1902)
A 12x10 negative. A distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Orontes (1902) under tow in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound in for Tilbury docks. She is flying the pilot flag. A Gamecock Steam Towing Co tug is ahead and the tug Athlete (1893) is coming up off the port quarter of the liner. Tilbury collier signal station and the World's End public house are in the background.
