A 12x10 negative. A distant port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Orontes (1902) under tow in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound in for Tilbury docks. She is flying the pilot flag. A Gamecock Steam Towing Co tug is ahead and the tug Athlete (1893) is alongside aft. Tilbury Hotel is in the background.
