A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Otranto (1909) under tow in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is bound in from Australia. Two tugs are ahead and another is connected to her stern. The bow of the Port of London Authority Hopper No. 7 (1907) is on the right. Tilbury-Gravesend ferries are in the right background and the Tilbury Hotel is in the left background.
