Otranto (1909)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Otranto (1909) under tow in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is approaching the entrance to Tilbury Docks bound in from Australia. Two tugs are ahead and another is connected to her stern. Tilbury Docks are in the background and a two funnelled Peninsular & Orient Steam Navigation Co passenger/cargo liner is berthed in the docks on the left.
