A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port side view, taekn from well ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Palawan (1895) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag and is preparing to depart. A slack line is running out from her bow to a tug which is out of the picture.
