A 12x10 negative. A port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the passenmer/cargo liner Paparoa (1899) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. The has three yards on her foremast and is flying the blue peter immediately before departure on her maiden voyage to Wellington, New Zealand. Tilbury is in the background.
