Parramatta (1882)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Parramatta (1882) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is brig rigged and has awnings rigged. The deckhouses on either side of her forecastle forward of the mast have been extended. The paddle tug Victoria (1853) is alongside her bow. The Tilbury hotel is in the left background and the Tilbury-Gravesend ferry Thames (1868) is almost dried out on the shore in the right background.
