Peninsular (1888)
A 12x10 negative. A distant port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Peninsular (1888) under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound upriver. There are no yards on her foremast and she has been refitted with a turtleback forecastle. She is flying a pilot flag and Tilbury Ness is in the background.
