Peshawur (1871)
A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Peshawur (1871) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has two yards on her foremast. A steam launch is alongside her accommodation ladder. the bow of a paddle tug is on the right. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is on the Tilbury shore in the background. Negatives numbers G1876, G1877 and G2123 were taken on the same occasion.
