Potosi (1873)

A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Potosi (1873) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an auxiliary barque rig and is flying a blue peter. A large number of passengers are on deck forward. The stern of a tug is in the left foreground and Tilbury is in the background.
