A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Potosi (1873) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an auxiliary 3 masted barque rig and is flying a blue peter. A large number of passengers are on deck forward. Tilbury is in the background.
