Rewa (1882)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Rewa (1882) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a brig rig and windsail ventilators are rigged forward. A large number of military personnel are on the forecastle and forward welldeck and a large tent has been erected on deck ahead of the bridge. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. Negatives numbers G1722, G1967, G2204 and G2205 were taken on the same occasion.
