A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Rome (1881) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is depicted after lengthening, rebuilding the accommodation and alterations to her machinery. There are no yards on her masts. Tilbury is in the background.
