Rome (1881)

A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Rome (1881) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has yards on her fore and main masts and an awning is rigged amidships. The stern of an unidentified tug is on the left. Tilbury is in the background.
