Seine (1859)
A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the cable ship seine (1859) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has been re-engined and now has a light-coloured hull, a taller funnel and yards on the foremast only. Awnings are rigged over the bridge and aft. Tilbury is in the background.
