Somersetshire (1867)
A whole plate negative. A port broadside view of the auxiliary ship rigged passenger/cargo liner Somersetshire (1867) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails and single topgallants with no royals. The Daniel List states her rig was double topgallants and single royals. A number of people are gathered on her poop. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. Negatives numbers G1294 and G1334 were taken on the same occasion.
