Tainui (1908)

A 12x10 negative. A port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Tainui (1908) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag and has horse stalls abreast number two hatch. Tilbury is in the background. She left London on her maiden voyage to New Zealand on 12 November and sailed from Tilbury 13 November 1908.
