Taroba (1888)
A 10x8 negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Taroba (1888) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and a man is working at the outer end of her foremast gaff. A twin funnelled paddle tug is alongside aft and a swim-headed stumpy rigged spritsail barge is working cargo alongside the forward holds. Three rowing skiffs are in the foreground and Tilbury is in the background.
