Thames (1881)
A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just aft of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Thames (18810 at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and awnings are rigged amidships and aft. She is not flying any flags. Tilbury Fort is in the background. The bottom of the negative is damaged by damp but the ship is not affected.
