Sustainability
We are proud to work with Benugo as our on-site caterer. Working together, we aim to operate to the highest ethical standards in:
- Organic options
- Healthy eating
- Waste reduction and recycling
- Environmental sustainability
Steps we have taken to achieve this have been:
- Removal of plastic straws from all Royal Museums Greenwich cafes
- Giving 25p off any hot drink when customers provide their own cup
- Selling re-usable keep cups on-site in our shops and cafes
Becoming CLIMAVORE
Benugo is collaborating with Turner Prize 2021-nominated Cooking Sections on a new long-term project, Becoming CLIMAVORE.
The Becoming CLIMAVORE menu will use ingredients that help regenerate the planet in response to the climate emergency.
The first two grab-and-go options from the Becoming CLIMAVORE range are the delicious Grains Salad and the fantastic Ocean Greens Wrap. Both products will be presented in recyclable, home compostable and naturally biodegradable boxes that have a coating that is 100% made of seaweed plants.
