What does your work involve?

I’m a beauty content creator and model with a six-year background in advertising – essentially behind the scenes of what I’m currently doing, which is handy.

What inspires you?

The people around me always inspire me, for sure. Growing up in a small city in Germany I never really felt that I was represented; moving to London switched this up entirely.

As a young girl I always wanted to pursue modelling, but, growing up in a Tamil household, the idea of this was firmly shut down. It never felt like a real option.

A few years ago, my love for make-up pushed me to start creating beauty content as a passion project alongside my job in advertising and I started putting myself out there more. This went hand in hand with giving modelling another go. I’ve not looked back since and do it full-time now.

What message would you give to the next generation?

To continue being fearless, disruptive change-makers – the next generation is filled with so many trailblazers and it’s amazing to see. I’d love for them to continue pushing, uplifting and encouraging each other and not feel like they only belong in one box.
