Enclosure: Extract of a letter from Captain Luggar of the Mary Ann Bomb Vessel in which he informs that he took on board six months' provisions in January of the present year and fears for the wholesomeness of the foodstuffs unless they are consumed. He requests permission to dump whatever is unfit for consumption.
