In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

In pursuance of HM 's pleasure signified to this Board you are directed to cause a Pension of fifty pounds per annum to be settled and paid to Elizabeth Taylor, Widow of Captain Thomas Taylor, late Commander of the NONSUCH, in consideration of the loss of her husband, who was killed in service against the Enemy on January 4th 1695.
This Pension is to commence from the time of the Captain's death, and to be paid quarterly by Bills on the Navy Treasury during her natural life.
