In pursuance of HM's pleasure signified to this Board, you are directed to cause a Pension of one hundred pounds per annum to be paid to Charoletta Hastings, Widow of Captain Anthony Hastings, late Commander of the SANDWICH, in consideration of the loss of her husband who was killed in service against the Enemy. The Pension is to commence from the time of the Captain's death and to be paid quarterly by Bills on the Navy Treasurer out of the Ordinary Charge during her natural life.
