Letters

Around 200 letters, in 13 groups according to where the author was writing from (i.e. which voyage/year). These letters were sent by Littleton to his mother from the time he joined the Navy at 13 years old. They contain details of life aboard ship, training exercises, social events and later details of voyages, including one to West Africa.
