Letters written by W.O. Story to his mother, with handwritten transcriptions.
Most of these letters were written aboard HMS COMUS at the following locations: Nagasaki, Ascension, Queenstown, Hong Kong, Yokohama, Sheerness. Several were written from HMS RALEIGH, HMS THALIA, HMS DRYAD, and HMS MOSQUITO. 3 letters were written from the College at Portsmouth Dockyard, and 1 from the Royal Terrace, Weymouth.
