Midshipman Charles Stevens (1735-1756) was the only son of Nathaniel Steevens, youngest brother of Rear-Admiral Charles Steevens (1705-1761). He was born in 1735 and educated at the Royal Academy, Portsmouth. He was a midshipman on his uncle's ship, the ORFORD, and died in 1756.
