In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

A quantity of sheathing stuff is to be sent to the Straits; sufficient for sheathing three or four ships.
The Commissioners for Victualling have stated that, in the event of the fleet being required to remain in the Mediterranean for another year, it will be necessary to send thither:

- 20 or 30 coopers, together with tools, hoops, nails and flags;
- crocus for bags, together with twine and needles;
- six pairs of large steelyards;
- two large beams with weights and scales;
- three clerks, writing paper and books;
- four or five hoys or ketches;
- ten barge oars.
