In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
I have 7 days provisions and have taken 6 days more on credit to enable me to go at the first opportunity. Mr Thomas Power, the Agent Victualler, informs me that there are no provisions at Milford and that the THUNDERBOLT lies there for want of provisions. We are under our provisions the best being but ill stored and with bread we are obliged to help those that have none. Signed by Captain Kenney, the Commander of the SWAN, and Captain Munden, Commander-in-Chief of his Majesty's ships at the Nore.
