At a Court Martial held on board the DREADNOUGHT in Hamoze on 17 February, Captain Whetstone, Commander of the PRESIDENT. Enquiry was made into the PENDENNIS being run aground in Rye Bay and it being found to be the omission of Richard Brincknell, Master, he was mulcted 6 months pay. We enclose a copy of the sentence and direct you to take care that Richard Brincknell be mulcted 6 months accordingly.
