In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In obedience to your warrant of 15 February, the ASSISTANCE of 50 guns is in the dry dock under a thorough repair and may be fitted for any voyage. The KENT at Mr Hollies and the BURFORD of 70 guns at Mr Snelgrove are rebuilding and are nearest to being finished; the former may be ready by the latter end of April and the latter by the last of May. Neither of them are sheathed. Signed by Officers at Deptford.
