Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)

Lieutenant Richard Wilkinson of the DOLPHIN is asking for the reimbursement of monies laid out for Victuals for Men supplied to him when he was in charge of a Prize and for the time he was in the DOLPHIN until relieved by Mr Rogers. Copies of documents submitted by Wilkinson are enclosed and a request is made for them to be carefully examined. Should however the Rules allow, Wilkinson is to receive compensation and his wages.
