In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Gunner of the MARY has given a note of the weight and nature of guns of the upper tier, they being all 12 pounders and 13 of a greater weight than most of the new ships carry. I ask that we may have them changed for lighter guns. I also ask that the carriages of our upper tier guns are fitted with dead trucks. Signed by Captain Lawrence Wright.
