Petition of Humphrey Aiskell, the Petitioner being Clerk to the Earl of Torrington when he was Admiral in the Straits in the last war with Algiers, and the Petitioner acting as Deputy Treasurer of the fleet for some 4 years. Afterwards employed in passing his Lordship's accounts with the Treasury for the slaves that were taken in that war, and with the Navy Board for the contingencies relating to that office for several years, and the Petitioner having received no consideration for his service.
