In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The enclosed is a list of ships now under victualling. We have applied to the Treasury for money to carry on the service, but cannot get any. It is our duty to advise your Lordships that the neglect may not be charged upon us, we having strained our credit in London and all other victualling ports. We pray your Lordships to move the Treasury to order a considerable sum of money to us that we can victual the ships ordered for sea, we being in arrears of £97,000. Signed by John Parsons; Andrew Stuart.
