Letters include a verse note containing payment for and progress on frescoes in the Garden Pavilion at Buckingham Palace, sorry to hear of George’s serious illness, invitation for a meal, sending some pages of a book, asking whether he is right in what he says about Turner’s pictures at Greenwich, he has added Clarkson’s opinion of Turner to his work and hopes he does not mind.
