Document: 'The Henderson Line – It’s Origins'.

Typed document of 4 pages, beginning with the subtitle 'A Short History of the "Parent Company"', with a typed note attached (an excerpt from 'Glasgow Directory' for Patrick Henderson and James Stewart, entry for 1835/1836, with an annotation 'no entries in Directories 1833/1834 or 1834/1835'). It was written circa 1937, the year of Burma's separation from India. Included in this short history is a mention of an unsuccessful venture by P. Henderson & Co. in South America called La Platense Flotilla Co. Ltd.
