HMS Latona (1781) was a 38-gun, 18-pounder gun armed fifth-rate frigate of the Royal Navy. She served in the American revolution, the French Revolutionary Wars, and the Napoleonic Wars. She was broken up in 1816. HMS Russell (1764) was a 74-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy.
