Correspondence from agents Birt & Collins, and Chippendale to Captain Kittoe.
Letters to Captain Kittoe, largely related to prizes (French privateers) captured by HMS BITTERN and various admiralty court cases. Richard Birt and William Collins were agents working in Adelphi, London. By 1914, Birt is working with another partner, Chippendale. Edward Kittoe's brother Robinson was also a prize agent, from about 1797.
