The Admiralty Commissioners have sent a Memorial to the Treasury Officers concerning the three thousand pounds lately appointed for payment of six months Pay to the Seamen that belonged to the PENDENNIS, who were ordered to serve on board the DUKE and BURFORD.
As much as these Men will now receive their Wages amongst the other hands over Men in the Fleets out of the Money appropriated by Act of Parliament for paying Seamens Wages, it is desired that that the said three thousand pounds may be appointed for the current service of the Navy which the Treasury Officers agree to, and they direct you to take care that the said three thousand pounds be accordingly applied for the current service of the Navy.
